We the John Harris Elementary School Together, the staff, parents and students work closely to make sure that we "educate and prepare each student to succeed in a changing world." Test scores are consistently high with 96% of John Harris students proficient or advanced in reading and 91% in math as measured by the Dakota STEP testing. On Stanford Achievement Tests, our fifth grade students averaged 80% in total reading and 89% in total math.
